The Hellenic Women's Leadership Society was founded in 2026 by women who saw a gap — a need for a dedicated professional home for Hellenic women in the Midwest.

Our Patron Saint

Under the guidance of
St. Xenia of St. Petersburg

HWLS has adopted St. Xenia of St. Petersburg as our patron saint — a woman of extraordinary courage who, in the face of profound loss, chose radical service over comfort and convention.

She surrendered her worldly desires to serve our God and her community. In doing so, she became one of the most beloved and powerful figures in the Orthodox tradition.

Her legacy reminds us that true leadership is built through unfading devotion to others.
